Winemaking:
Hand harvested, sorted, destemmed and crushed. Inoculated with Burgundy yeasts. Fermentation and maceration for eighteen days. Barrel aged for 17 months in 100% french oak (50% new) until bouquet and flavors reached full balance. Bottle unfined and unfiltered on March 10th 2006. 262 cases made.
Winemaker tasting notes:
This wine shows intense aromatics of strawberries, fresh tobacco, herbs, and raspberries. The palate is creamy, juicy, and mineral, with a bit of roasted coffee. The wine has a great balance.

This wine shows intense aromatics of tropical fruits, pineapple, papayas, and bananas, along with pears. This wine has a great balance between vibrancy and creaminess. The mid palate is highlighted with hazelnut and finishes with butterscotch, giving richness to the wine. Enjoy alone or with food.
